Sustainability

Nothing is more important to us than ensuring all of our designs are sustainable for the future and as environmentally friendly as can be. We endeavour to incorporate any existing materials and plants into the new scheme wherever possible. When we do need to source hard landscaping and planting, we try to stay as local as possible. We get to know each of our suppliers so you can rest assured, that not only is your new garden as green as the leaves, but the quality is second to none too. If we do have to go a little further afield for some of our stone, you can be safe in the knowledge that we did it in the name of quality, and sustainability will be key.

Timber

All the timber we use is FSC certified so we can be sure it comes from a responsibly-managed forest.

Plants

We source as many of our plants as possible from local nurseries and growers with whom we have an established relationship based on trust and expertise. We encourage the inclusion of native species and wildlife-promoting plants within your planting scheme.

Stone

Wherever possible we promote the use of local stone in our gardens – either reclaimed or new.  We use a local stone merchants who can guarantee us that their imported stone is high-quality and ethically sourced and follows the guidelines laid down by the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI).  This gives us and you the peace of mind that any imported stone used in your garden will have been produced under fair working conditions.
